Any writer knows that rejection is part of our lives when we are seeking a publisher. On July 1st I sent my novel, Paradise, to a publisher I respect and would have loved to work with again. Nope - not going to happen. Rejection received yesterday. No interest - from anyone at all at his publishing house according to his e mail and I believe him.
Rather than crash and burn I will park my novel for a few days and rethink my plan. For today, I think a pity party is in order!
