I love Nova Scotia!

Hi there

I have spent the most wonderful time in the Annapolis Valley this month - an entire week based out of Kentville with my friends Linda Power and Heather Macumber (we were in Heather's home.) We toured through Middleton, Margaretsville and areas all around. I do miss home so much!

I was there to work though. I had the pleasure of being the keynote speaker at the opening of the Kingstec "How to be a successful Office Administrator" conference. I met over 200 energetic, eager and kind students all looking forward to graduation day and moving from the warm embrace of Kingstec to the work-world and all it has to offer. I met the Academic Chairs as well and have heard from each of the Chairs since returning to Toronto - a good feeling. I hope to work with them again.

It has been a busy month - with a first for me - I was asked to speak at a Red Hat Convention where I met more wonderful people. They even gave me my own Red Hat! I am not much of a hat person but I will take very good care of it.

Additionally this month I have enjoyed working with the Ontario Hospital Association, Ontario Power Generation, and Seize your Future to name a few - like I said - a busy month. I am looking forward to May.

And, most important of all, I took Jalen on his first ride in Nana's MX5 - he was excited to say the least.

Here comes May...
