Your Tuesday smile.

The Busy woman
I thought this piece of art said it all about the busy woman. A bag/briefcase, an umbrella and the killer red high heeled shoes!
I purchased this in a lovely little art studio at Fisherman's Cove along Nova Scotia's Eastern Passage.
A great place to visit.

Queensport Quarries
Sorry I have not been blogging over the past few weeks while on vacation in NS. I will begin by sharing these photos with you in an attempt to catch up just a bit.
Queenie, as she was known to her friends back in the 1920s, worked with some 35 men at the Queensport Quarries. She eventually moved to NYC but on a trip home she visited with 'the guys' and they snapped this photo....I can relate!
You will notice the high heeled shoes!!!
The Queensport Quarries supplied all of the granite door and window sills for the Lord Nelson Hotel in Halifax.

Vacation!
Leaving Toronto today for a few weeks in beautiful Nova Scotia. A sister's reunion with Lois, Lorraine and Connie (Tom and Chris too.)
We begin in Halifax followed by a few days in Bridgewater and then a week exploring the Eastern Shore.
We may even visit a beach or two. Lawrencetown? Rissers? Who knows.
Back here by end of September and then work begins again to complete Paradise and find that elusive publisher.

Memories for our grand children
This is something we should all keep in mind. Especially when thinking of the grand children and young people in our lives. How will they remember us?
